PRODUCT INFORMATION
All of our products are handmade and made in Seychelles unless otherwise specified. Due to the handcrafted nature of our products, no two are alike and each item is unique. There will be variations in the colors, design, fabric, paper and hand painting. If this is of a concern to you, please notify us before the product is constructed, and we will make every attempt to keep the products as consistent as possible.
PRICING
The prices displayed on the Website are quoted in U.S. dollars, unless otherwise indicated. Acceptable forms of payment are Paypal and bank wire transfers both international and local. Paypal.com is subject to its own terms of use and must be agreed upon before making a transaction through Paypal. Paypal terms of use can be found here.
COLORS
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors of our products that appear at the website. However, as the actual colors you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any color will be accurate or identical.
OUT OF STOCK ITEMS
While we do our best to keep all items on our website in stock, there may be instances when an item is unavailable. We create all items by hand and use the natural plants and the sun to create many of our products. Mother nature can be unpredictable so at times there may be a longer production time. In this case, please feel free to email us about your interest in our products and we'll notify you by email the date the item is reasonably expected to be created.
We are working and living on a small island and in some instances materials we need may not be available. Often times it takes months for materials to arrive so be prepared for any delays. We will promptly notify you of any delays and a refund will be granted if requested.
ETSY SHOP
Our Etsy online shop, RootsSeychelles, is also bound by these Terms of Use. Etsy.com is subject to its own terms of use and must be agreed upon before making a transaction through Etsy. Etsy terms of use can be found here.
Roots Seychelles reserves the right to deny any order for any reason.
MALICIOUS ACTIVITY
You may not upload, post, email or otherwise transmit any material that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software. Roots Seychelles will take action to the fullest extent of the law and will disclose such actions and content to the relevant government authorities to satisfy any law, regulation or government request.

Roots Seychelles may terminate its service to you through the Seychelles Maps website at any time, without notice, for any conduct in violation of this Terms of Use or any other policies or guidelines set forth on the Seychelles Maps website. Roots Seychelles reserves the right to take all appropriate measures to enforce Roots Seychelles’ policies.
ARTWORK AND PHOTO CREDITS
We would like to extend extreme gratitude to our clients for allowing us to use their artwork, photography, text and finished products as samples, website imagery, promotional materials and displays. Some of the works displayed on the Website were contributed by clients, customers, employees, friends and family.
In addition, some of the photos and images on this Website are being used with legal permission, by way of the purchase of rights of use from Wix.com. These images are for online viewing purposes only, and are not resold for private or commercial use. Roots Seychelles does not endorse any content displayed in online images or samples or any opinion, recommendation or advice expressed therein, and Roots Seychelles expressly disclaims any and all liability in connection with content. Roots Seychelles does not permit copyright infringement activities and infringement of intellectual property rights, and we will remove such content if properly notified of the infringement on another's intellectual property rights. Roots Seychelles reserves the right to remove or discontinue use of any content without prior notice.
PAYMENT
For all orders payment must be received in full before the shipment of any items.
Quotes for custom orders are available upon request. A non-refundable 50% deposit is required before any and all work is started on custom orders. Additional alterations incur an additional fee.
RETURN POLICY
We stand behind our work.
Roots Seychelles creates every product with care and creativity, and we want you to love your MAP purchase!
We happily accept general merchandise for return within 7 days of delivery, minus the shipping costs. Products must be unused in their original condition and unopened packaging.
Shipping costs are non-refundable and all costs for return shipment are the responsibility of the customer.
Please choose carefully. Custom personalized items are not eligible for return or exchange.
Contact us at hello@rootsseychelles.com to request a refund, have issues or for any questions. We are open 10 -5 daily Seychelles local time. We are located in zone GMT + 4h standard time so we are 9 hours ahead of New York and 12 hours ahead of California.
APPLICABLE LAW
The law applicable to the interpretation and construction of these Terms of Use and any transaction (including purchases made on this Website) using or related to the Website, shall be the laws of Seychelles without regard to principles of conflict of laws. You agree that all matters relating to your access to or use of this Website, including all disputes, will be governed by the laws of Seychelles. All proceedings relating to the Website, these Terms of Use, or any transaction, including the sale of any products, using this Website, shall be brought only in the Civil Court of Seychelles, and you and Roots Seychelles do consent to the jurisdiction and venue of such court.
